Timings of our school Day

Our school day begins at 8.45am and finishes at 3,15pm.

The school gates open at 8.30 and parents wait with children on the playground until teacher come and meet their class at 8.35. Classes go into school at 8.40 where they are taken to their cloak room before entering class and completing a morning activity during registration.

We find this allows the children to transition smoothly into school on a morning, and have an informal start to their day and they are calm and ready to learn in their first lesson.

Our total hours of school each week (excluding any clubs or extras) is 32.5 hours.

Lots of our pupils stay after school for extra curricular activities including karate, tennis and art club.
